MRI and other thoughts

My human will be having her MRI in one week. She did go to the site that the hospital gave her to find out more about the procedure. She is not worried about the procedure just what will happen in the course of treatment.

She is not sure if she is having an allergic reaction to new med or if it is just heat rash. It’s been beastly hot here with heat indices over 100.

Her birthday is coming soon and she is feeling a little down. Usually birthdays make her happy, this one isn’t. So put your thinking paws together and let’s find a way to cheer up my human.

Random Thoughts

I finally have met all the requirements to become a Sabertooth in Cat Scouts.  There will be a ceremony held for me, I just don’t know when.

Update on my human:  she has arthritis in her neck.  It is at it’s worst at C-5 and C-6.  She really feels down and depressed.  I think it has a lot to do with an upcoming birthday and no real job to pay the bills.  Her blood pressure is high and she wants to cry and sleep all the time.

Prayers for all who need them

Considering all the attacks that have happened lately across America and all around the world I think it is time for worldwide prayer and it will start here and now.

Dear God, I pray for an end to these horrible shootings and acts of terror.  Let your word of peace, love and understanding come to all who need it.  Wrap your arms around us all and bring us comfort.  In the name of your son, we pray.  Amen.

Tough Week for America

This has been a very tough week in America with shootings that were needless.  Today my human’s pastor gave a sermon that touched on this.  All people are our neighbors and we need to be better neighbors.  No one person is at fault.  Let’s stop blaming each other and seek to find a way to keep these kinds of things from happening.

May the 4th be with you

We Americans are celebrating Independence Day today.  Many will have picnics and family and friends over and shoot off fireworks tonight.

I do not like the sound of fireworks.  Way too loud.  They are pretty to look at.  My human and I will be popping in and out of Cat Scouts today as my patrol is hosting an all day cookout.  Tonight there will be an ice cream social and fireworks to celebrate.

It’s been really mild here in Indiana for the first week of July.  Haven’t had to turn the a/c on too much.  I’ve been throwing up every morning.  I am not sure if it is the cat food, lack of a/c or just that I am scared of the loud noises in the neighborhood.  It’s going to warm up this week so the a/c will be back on and my human and I can get a really good night’s sleep.

If you are scared of the loud noises like fireworks, curl up with your human and they will keep you safe.  Hugs and purrs, Ali
