9/11 Fifteen Years Later

Sunday will be fifteen years since the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Centers. I for one, will remember where I was when these things happened. It was so surreal, it seemed like something out of a movie until the towers fell and then you knew it was real. There are young people who have been born since this and have no idea what it all means.
I was too young to understand Pearl Harbor and what it meant to my father and his being part of WWII and serving in the Pacific on the big island of Hawaii not far from Pearl Harbor. He rarely talked about his experiences.
This Sunday take a few minutes of silence and prayer for those who lost loved ones that horrible day in September. May their memories of them be all the sweeter because we all remember them as heroes.
