The human had her taxes done this morning. She owes the federal government a small amount and is getting some back from the state. Then she went to work. At approximately 2:40 p.m. all the electricity went out and everyone was sent home shortly before 3:00 p.m. The bus barely got downtown in time and when it left downtown it just kept getting slower and slower and slower. So it took an hour to get home instead of 30 minutes. The human is not happy about that.
I threw up on the couch again today. The human doesn’t like having to clean up all the messes I make. I seem to be getting on her nerves more and more with my meowing and my messes.

Oh, Ali. we are sorry you have been ill. And as kitties get older, often they become more vocal. which can get on aperson’s nerves, we guess. Our humom is older too, and she isn’t as patient with us sometimes. And she is slower too – it sorta makes her mad at herself.
We lived with two old kitties – Snarky was 19 and Buddy was 18, and they had some problems too. Maybe your Mom could put an old blanket or a painter’s dropcloth on the couch so she wouldn’t have so much to clean up if you get sick. Do you eat too fast ? Alexander ALWAYS gobbles his food.

Hi Ali…. Please have your mom get you checked out by your vet. Several of our cats over the years started with that and the vet results were not always good Hope you feel better Cat Scout Charles & his mom

Ali I hope you are feeling better soon. When kitties get older they have a lot of issues with food and sometimes do get more vocal…..sometimes they are asking for help. I hope you are OK – my Mom says “getting older isn’t always fun!” and we sure saw that with Angel Sammy. Your human isn’t really mad at you – she just gets frustrated because of other things going on. We send hugs!

In answer to your question, a transformer went down, probably due to a squirrel or other animal getting in and chewing on wires.
