Final Blog Post

It is with a heavy heart that this will be Ali’s final blog post.  She crossed the Rainbow Bridge today.  She lived to be 18 years old and was much loved and super spoiled.

Update on Transportation Issues

After calling and complaining, filling out complaint forms online and in person the huMom finally talked to someone with power at the bus company.  Luckily for her, her understood her plight and intends to actually do some good.

Today her bus was on time and she made her transfer and got home at her normal time.  This had been weighing heavy on her mind and body.

She still needs to go to the grocery store and get some food hopefully by this weekend.

Public Transportation Woes

This week has the huMom really frustrated.  The buses here in Lafayette, IN have been really late every single afternoon.  A trip that should only take 30-40 minutes now takes 90 minutes because of late buses and having to wait for another late bus.

Tonight she called to say she couldn’t come to a pool party and have food and fun because she is so frustrated and would not be able to enjoy herself.

On the up side, this week is Summer Camp for Cat Scouts and she is helping me attend as many activities as possible.  That’s part of the reason for her not going to other activities each evening.

Happy Birthday to my HuMom

Today is my huMom’s birthday.  Her co-workers made her a huge card and there was cake and happy birthday was sung.  She is also celebrating her 2nd year at work.  IMG_0141.JPGIMG_0140.JPG

August Musings

It’s only the 2nd of August and the huMom is having a horrible week.  Her bus this morning was 15 minutes late and everyone missed their transfers.  Then a co-worker offended her.  That co-worker didn’t mean to but it sure hurt my huMom’s feelings.  To top it off the bus home was 7 minutes late.  She wanted to run an errand but was afraid she would get stuck somewhere without a ride home.

She has to work tomorrow.  So she really doesn’t get a weekend to relax. She will try tomorrow early or Monday early to do her errands.

Okay, rant over.  The huMom’s birthday is the 14th of this month so let’s help her celebrate.

Hugs and purrs, Ali
