Almost May

In a few days it will be May.  Starting tomorrow we can start purchasing bus passes again.  Starting May 4th no more free rides and on May 11th hopefully the bus company will return to regular schedules for all routes.  My mommy is tired of the whole Saturday schedule every day except Sunday.

Hopefully her church will be returning to in person church and activities.  She really wants to get back to choir.  She hopes that everyone who can stay home and stay safe will continue to do so.  She is scheduled for her yearly mammogram this Saturday.

Earth Day 2020

Celebrating Earth Day for the year 2020.

Mommy saw this on Pinterest and wants to share it with everyone.  Because we need to take care of this planet we live on.

News

I got good news yesterday.  I am to be the featured cat for the month of May in the Tabby Cat Club.

I wrote a little bio of me and sent a couple of pictures.  Mommy is excited for me.

Last night at Cat Scouts we saw a documentary about snow leopards.  They are beautiful cats and need to be saved.  When they do cheek marking it’s called Bunting!

Today we celebrate April birthdays and gotcha days in Cat Scouts and the theme is trolls.

New Normal?

Is this the new normal?  People wearing masks in public.  Public transportation runs once an hour instead of every half hour, the drivers make you enter and exit via the back door, there is a plexiglass shield between them and you.

If you don’t have a vehicle you have to get things delivered instead of using drive thru because you aren’t allowed inside a restaurant to actually sit down and eat.

I am tired of having church online and not being able to sing praises to God.  I’m just tired of all the new rules at work.

Happy Easter

Wishing one and all a very Happy Easter.  We had church online via Youtube this morning.  Very different than previous years. In my mind are the words from the Messiah by Handel.  For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth, King of Kings, Lord of Lords.

It’s not all about the bunny, eggs and candy.  Jesus is the reason for the season.

Today my mommy decided to post some random pictures.  One is of the super moon, one is of flowers and a couple of me.

Holy Week

It’s Holy Week and it feels rather strange for my human to not be in church singing praises to God.  When she can finally get back to church in person she will start to feel more normal.

There will be church online on Thursday night, Friday night and Easter Sunday. She is trying to find ways to worship.

If anybody has any ideas, please comment because she is getting more and more depressed.

Teddy Bear Hunt

At the apartment complex where my human and I live they are holding a teddy bear hunt.  Those who want to participate are to put stuffed animals in their windows for others to walk around and find.

Since my human figured that I would destroy any stuffed animal sitting in the window she drew two bears, cut them out, and taped them to her bedroom window.  She put them high enough so that I wouldn’t go after them.

April thoughts

It’s April 1st, also known as April Fool’s Day.  It’s going to be a nice day here, a little chilly, but it will be warming up over the week.

There will be no “live” church until May 1st and my human is feeling blue due to not being able to sing praises in choir.  Holy week will be especially hard for her.

She wants this whole social distancing to be over.  With the local bus system running on it’s Saturday schedule it’s throwing off her timing getting to and getting home from work.

Here is a little joke:  If April showers bring May flowers, what do Mayflowers bring?  Pilgrims!

On the upside, her taxes finally went through online.  I helped a little bit too much.  She is expecting refunds and the money will be greatly needed.
