Sunday Musings

WordPress has changed up their editor. I’ m trying it out this morning. So far not liking it. I liked the old way. I knew how to include photos, now I don’t.

Anyway, yesterday was fun at Cat Scouts. We had a virtual trip on a sailing vessel and visited all sorts of places. It was fun.

SpaceX successfully launched two men into space. It’s been a decade since that has been done in America.

Let’s try to focus on something positive rather than all the negative.

Random Photo Day

Posting some random photos mom took of flowers and of course, me.

Midway through May

Well, we are halfway through May and Indiana is slowly starting to open up.  Restaurants are at half capacity, hair salons can open up at half capacity, public places like parks and pools can open up at half capacity starting this weekend.

Monday is Memorial Day which remembers those who served in the armed forces and paid the ultimate price.  Most people think of it as the start of summer activities and an excuse to party.  Since my father was a WWII veteran I try to spend part of the day honoring those who served and died and then part of the day I will play with Bunty.

Yesterday was the first day that the fancy thermometer at work gave me a false red reading.  The handheld said my temperature was 96.9 degrees. Normal body temperature for humans is 98.6 degrees.

.I now have two masks a friend made for me and I will start using them shortly.  I’m not really comfortable having one on and possibly fogging up my glasses.

Mother’s Day

Today is the first Mother’s Day with my forever mom.  I was adopted by her in October of 2019 and she loves me so much.  I wake her every morning by gently patting her face with my paw and then chewing and licking her hair around her eyes and purring loudly.

She will get up, feed me, pet me and tell me how adorable I am and how much she loves me.  There are times I  sleep on her bed while she has been gone.  There will be paw print indentations on the covers and a few wisps of fur.  The  pictures that follow are of me being really adorable. Hugs and purrs, Bunty

Picture Time

Mommy has more pictures of her stitching.

Broomhilda.  There are beads on the animals, her hat, boots and broom.  Mommy took most of the beads out and replaced them with floss.  Now she just needs to get it framed.

Pics of me to follow in next post.  Hugs and purrs,  Bunty

National Star Wars Day

May the 4th is National Star Wars Day due to the fact it sounds like “May the force be with you”.  Mommy does have to work today so she will be wearing one of her Star Wars t-shirts.  At least it is sunny here.  It’s a little bit cooler today than yesterday.

So if you are a Star Wars fan, wear your favorite gear and have fun today.  Even with social distancing you can have some fun, play music, color, draw, do puzzles, craft something, call your family and friends.  Let them know you love them and care about them.

May the force be with you! Bunty

May Musings

TCCNATIONALTABBYCATDAY2020-1We are only 2 days into May and it’s going to be warm and sunny here today.  I am the featured tabby at The Tabby Cat Club.  My cuteness is in the banner and I am in the newsletter.  Be sure to check it out.

April 30th was National Tabby Cat Day.  We celebrated at TCC.  I have a badge to show I participated.

Mommy’s mammogram has been rescheduled to June 6th because her insurance wouldn’t cover it until after May 4th.  Rather than lose any work days she chose the first Saturday available.

Hugs and purrs, Bunty
