Midway through May

Well, we are halfway through May and Indiana is slowly starting to open up.  Restaurants are at half capacity, hair salons can open up at half capacity, public places like parks and pools can open up at half capacity starting this weekend.

Monday is Memorial Day which remembers those who served in the armed forces and paid the ultimate price.  Most people think of it as the start of summer activities and an excuse to party.  Since my father was a WWII veteran I try to spend part of the day honoring those who served and died and then part of the day I will play with Bunty.

Yesterday was the first day that the fancy thermometer at work gave me a false red reading.  The handheld said my temperature was 96.9 degrees. Normal body temperature for humans is 98.6 degrees.

.I now have two masks a friend made for me and I will start using them shortly.  I’m not really comfortable having one on and possibly fogging up my glasses.

Glasses and masks are a difficult combination! The masks with the metal nose strip you can “conform” to your nose are better closing off your breath and fogging glasses up. Someone told me you could wipe your lenses with shaving cream and they won’t fog up but I haven’t tried that. I have better luck with the paper masks than he material ones!

The same is happening here Angela and Bunty. !/2 xapacity places are slowly opening. We had 2 new cases in 24 hours so we are doing ok. Mom will wait 2 weeks to get her hair cut and permed as we will know what the openng of businesses has done with the virus,

    Take care little buddies.

A friend told me to tape the top of the mask to your cheeks. I haven’t tried it yet.
Ohio is opening halfway too, but our human hasn’t gone anywhere except the grocery store and the farm store to buy bird seed.
Hope you and your huMom enjoy a safe Memorial Day Bunty
