Well it’s a new year and a new decade. A celebration was held at Cat Scouts last night. Again I was not named Cat Scout of the Year. I was named Cat Scout Emeritus. While that is an honor and a possible trophy it rings hollow to me. (Angel Ali)
Bunty here, last night was my very first New Year’s Eve. Luckily it was mostly quiet. There were only a couple of boomers and I didn’t hear any loud voices or music so I slept well. The only honor that Ali wanted was to be named Cat Scout of the Year. While she was on the official list I don’t think that anyone nominated her except for me and that didn’t count.

I thought it was a lovely honor to make Angel Ali a Cat Scout Emeritus. I know lots of Scouts would love to be CSOTY and believe me – I was thrilled to be one this time around (!) – but not everyone gets to be. On the other hand certainly not every Scout ever gets to be a Cat Scout Emeritus and we’ve lost a lot of Scouts to the Bridge. I asked Angel Sammy to give Angel Ali a big hug of congratulations – she deserved the honor for sure!! Happy New Year to you and your Mom.

We came by to say ConCatulations to Scout Ali. What a great honor to be the very first Cat Scout Emeritus! We were so happy to see little Bunty at Scouts last night too. We hope she had a good time.

We’re sorry Angel Ali is disappointed about CSotY, but we are happy she did gt the honor of Cat Scout Emeritus ! That shows that the other at Scouts love and miss her and wanted to honor her. (We are not Cat Scouts so we couldn’t nominate anybody. )
We’re glad the New Year was quiet so Bunty was able to have a Happy New Year,
